1. Registering as a Candidate
By completing registration on the Vettam Talent candidate intake or portal, you are asking us to create a candidate profile for you and to begin assisting you in finding suitable employment opportunities across South Africa.
2. What You're Giving Us Permission To Do
By accepting this form, you give Vettam Talent permission to:
- Collect and process the personal information you provide during registration and while using the portal, for recruitment purposes.
- Store your CV, qualifications, references and other recruitment documents securely in encrypted cloud environments.
- Contact you regarding employment opportunities, assessment scheduling, and matters relating to your registration via WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
- Submit your CV and relevant profile information to prospective client employers where we believe there is a suitable vacancy for you.
These permissions are recorded as separate, independent consents (Recruitment Processing, CV/Profile Submission, and Recruitment Communications) — see our Privacy Policy for how each is used. You are not asked to give a single blanket permission covering everything at once.
3. Confirming Your Information Is Accurate
By accepting this form, you confirm that the information you provide to Vettam Talent — including your CV, Red Seal trade certificates, qualifications, work history and references — is accurate, complete and belongs to you.
4. Verification
You give Vettam Talent permission to verify your qualifications, references and employment history where appropriate, for example by contacting a listed referee, previous employer, or a training / trade test provider named in your profile.
5. No Candidate Fees Guarantee
Strict Zero-Fee Policy (Employment Services Act 4 of 2014): Vettam Talent does not charge candidates for registration, recruitment, screening, or placement. You will never be asked to pay a fee to register, be submitted to a client, or be placed in a role.
6. Your Rights Over Your Information
Under South African law (POPIA), you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information Vettam Talent holds about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct or update information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw any consent you have given at any time by contacting our compliance team.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to any information we are lawfully required or entitled to keep.
To request access, correction, or profile deletion, simply email our Information Officer at info@vettamtalent.com and we will action your request promptly.
7. Electronic Acceptance & Audit Logging
Vettam Talent records acceptance of this form electronically. Your acceptance, captured through the candidate intake form or portal, is treated as your legally valid consent and is immutably logged with the following details:
- Candidate Name and Contact Details
- Document Name and Version (v1.0)
- Exact Date and Timestamp of Acceptance
- IP Address & User Verification Signature
- Consent Category: Recruitment Processing & Placement Matching
